Jatoba

Jatoba, often called Brazilian cherry, is a very hard, heavy hardwood with a salmon to reddish-brown color that deepens to a rich red-brown with exposure to light. Its strength and hardness make it a good fit for tabletops, stair parts, cutting boards, tool handles and furniture that sees hard use. We carry it in 4/4 and 5/4. Imported, and sold by the board foot.
