Beech

Beech is a hard, strong, fine-textured hardwood, pale cream to light reddish brown, with small, distinctive flecks on the face. It machines and turns well and bends readily with steam, so it's used for furniture, chairs, workbenches, tool handles and turned pieces. We carry it in 4/4, sold by the board foot.
