Pecky Cypress

Pecky cypress is cypress with pockets and channels left in the wood by a natural fungus in the standing tree, which give it a distinctive, rustic texture. The fungus stops once the wood is cut and dried. It's a favorite for accent walls, ceilings, mantels, paneling, shelving and furniture with a lodge or farmhouse look. We carry it in 4/4, sold by the board foot.
