Iroko

Iroko is an African hardwood often used in place of teak. It starts a yellow to golden brown and darkens to a warm, deeper brown, and it's naturally durable, so it suits outdoor furniture, boat work, exterior doors and trim as well as indoor furniture. Its interlocked grain can tear out, so plane with light passes. We carry it in 4/4, sold by the board foot.
