Alder

Alder is a light, even-textured hardwood, pale tan to light reddish brown, that machines easily and takes stain evenly, which is why it's so popular for cabinets, doors, furniture and trim. We carry knotty and clear alder in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 8/4, in select and better (S&B), Premium Frame and Superior grades, sold by the board foot.
