Hickory

Hickory is the hardest and toughest of the common domestic hardwoods, with strong contrast between its pale sapwood and tan to reddish-brown heartwood. That strength and character make it popular for cabinets, furniture, flooring and tool handles, and for a rustic look. We carry it in 4/4, 5/4, 6/4 and 8/4, in select and better (S&B) and shorts, sold by the board foot.
