White Ash

White ash is a strong, springy hardwood, light cream to light brown, with a bold, open grain much like oak. Its toughness and shock resistance made it the wood for tool handles and baseball bats, and it's also used for furniture, chairs, cabinets and stair parts. We carry it in 5/4 and 6/4, select and better (S&B), sold by the board foot.
