Aromatic Cedar

Aromatic cedar (eastern red cedar) has a reddish-purple heartwood streaked with cream sapwood, small knots and the familiar cedar scent. It's the traditional wood for lining closets and building chests and boxes, and it's naturally resistant to decay. We carry it in 4/4, sold by the board foot.
