Soft Maple

Soft maple is a little softer and easier to work than hard maple, with a light cream to light brown color and a fine, even grain. It machines cleanly and takes paint well, so it's a common choice for cabinets, furniture, trim and painted work. We carry it in 4/4, select and better (S&B), sold by the board foot.
