African Mahogany 8/4 S3S

African mahogany in 8/4 (2-inch) thickness, surfaced on three sides and kiln dried, ready for thick-stock work like tabletops, stair parts, door frames and heavy trim. It's a warm reddish brown that deepens with age, machines and finishes well, and stays stable once it's in place. The interlocked grain can tear out when planing, so finish with light passes. FAS grade, imported, and sold by the board foot.
