Zebra

Zebrawood is an African hardwood with a light gold to cream face and bold, dark brown stripes, a look that's hard to mistake. It's used for accents, boxes, inlay, panels and small furniture pieces where the stripe can be the feature; its interlocked grain can tear out, so plane with light passes. We carry it in 4/4, sold by the board foot, and in thin 1/4" stock, sold by the square foot.
